Joan of Arc

Here are some quotes from one powerful woman. Joan of Arc was a French peasant girl who saved the kingdom of France from English domination. 1412-1431

"I am not afraid...I was born to do this."

“One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying.”

“Act, and God will act”

“I would rather die than do something which I know to be a sin, or to be against God's will.”

I've always been a fan of Joan. Have you ever seen The Messenger? It's about Joan of Arc but it's kinda weird. Starring Milla Jovovich and written and/or directed by Luc Besson.

Joan of Arc's actually actual quote was: "I do not fear the soldiers, for my road is made open to me; and if the soldiers come, I have God, my Lord, who will know how to clear the route that leads to messire the Dauphin. It was for this that I was born!" For more of her quotes try: Joan of Arc Quotes
